Threnody For The Victims Of Paris
Natasha Hardy recently put lyrics and a vocal to an old piece of mine. Somehow, the elegiac quality she evokes seems an appropriate tribute to the people of Paris. I’ve renamed it Threnody for the Victims of Paris.
I recently wrote an adaption of the beautiful ‘Crossing the Highway’ by Michael Levine. After hearing my adaption Michael has re-named the song ‘Threnody For The Victims Of Paris’. I truly believe music will bring humanity together one day. I hope this lament brings some comfort. #WorldPeace
Lyrics: You gave me wings so I could fly,You gave me wings so I could soar so high. Can you see me drift alone?I'm crossing the Highway to youYou gave me strength to touch the skyYou gave me strength so I could say goodbye.
